It’s hard to believe that Beech Ridge Motor Speedway is considered our home track, as we don’t very often
have a good finish there. During practice on Friday the car started off pretty good, then the motor lost
some power.

After practice was over the guys stayed and worked on the car and changed spark plugs and fuel pump, and filter and then we hoped for the best. On Saturday morning during practice the car was good.

 
Richie started 8th in his heat. He finished 3rd and started the feature 9th. Had a wreck in the first turn of the first lap. Richie made it through turn one unscathed. A few laps later there was another one and Richie was able to avoid it and moved into 3rd.

 Richie settled in and around lap 70 the car started
fading on him. Richie was able to salvage a 9th place finish. Next we are off to White Mountain,
hope to see you there.
